We had a great stay. The bed was comfortable. The room was clean. It was a quiet place to stay.
The place is quaint and quiet! It’s exactly what I expected for the price I paid. Josh and Brandy go above and beyond with communication and being flexible with both check-in and check out. They even rolled an extra cot into the room for us while we went out to dinner. Colleagues of mine and I stayed here last summer. We did before our voyageurs trip this summer and we stayed again after the trip. If I’m in International Falls, this is the place I will stay. This last time was the 4th time I’ve stayed at Hilltop Lodge. I won’t stay anywhere else. Josh continues to be hospitable, responsive, and kind!
Ryan and Amanda are awesome! They have created a warm and welcoming experience for their guests. They have paid attention to the little details that make it an extra special stay. They greeted us with smiles and made sure we had what we needed. The rooms were so clean, the beds comfortable, the water was hot and the shower had great pressure. The Continental breakfast had a nice variety for all. Thank you for a wonderful stay! Thank you for all that you do....we appreciate it.
This was a perfect cozy cabin. Don’t expect bougie however expect to have a great time with a wonderful host. We will be back.
Room 108 was clean. No musty smells. Beds had memory foam toppers and were comfortable. Check in and out was convenient through text. Only issue was property was difficult to locate with address on website. But is right off Main Street
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Just returned from a delightful three-day stay at this fabulous small hotel, it was comfortable and inviting.The bed and bathroom were spotless. The location? Perfect! Close to all sorts of businesses. Quick tip to the management: if you're listening, vertical storage would be a game-changer! Goodbye wide coffee table, hello room to 3 or 4 shelving rack. A square or rectangular dining table would give more space to accommodate personal items. Shoutout to the cleaning lady, too! She was amicable and knowledgeable about the town/park. All in all, this hotel delivered comfort and joy, and I’d absolutely stay here again!
We stayed at this cabin the first weekend of October 2024, and it was everything we needed for a perfect getaway. The cabin was safe, exceptionally clean, and provided a comfortable and quiet environment for us to relax. With reliable WiFi and a TV, it offered modern conveniences while maintaining a cozy cabin feel. The location was ideal, placing us close to all our planned activities, and it was incredibly convenient to come and go with easy access to the room and parking. We couldn’t have asked for a better spot and will definitely look forward to returning!
We didn’t want to spend a lot of money, just needed a clean comfortable room to sleep, and this was perfect. Great location, plenty of restaurants very close by. Host brought over an extra blanket quickly when we asked for that. Would stay here again.
